> when: thursday, march 27th from 8am
the day’s itinerary will take you from les grands montets, a bastion of freeride skiing, to the village of le tour. starting from the top of the ski lifts, you will cross the col des rachasses (3037m) before descending into wild terrain towards the argentière glacier. once on the glacier, you will put on your skins again to reach the col du passon (3028m) and transition to the tour basin and the final descent. this descent, weaving through the tour glacier and its moraine, covers over 1500 meters of vertical drop in a stunning setting.
this classic ski touring route is renowned for its favorable ascent-to-descent ratio, as well as the diversity and beauty of its itinerary.
